General
How long till the concrete is dry?
Keep pets, children and objects away from the curb for at least 72 hours. After the first few days, the curb will be solid, but it will still need several days (28) to fully cure.
When can I resume working on my landscape?
Sod laying, sprinkler work and landscape work can be started 72 hours after installation. However, caution must be taken as shovels, picks and wheelbarrows can damage the curb for several days while it is fully curing.
Why is there spots on my curbing?
Curbing may look “splotchy” for a few days while it is curing. This will go away as it cures.
Can I have custom colors?
Yes we can add custom colors to your concrete curbing for an additional $1.50 per foot.
Services
What do I do if my concrete cracks?
Cracks are not covered under warranty. Concrete curbing, like any other type of concrete, can and will crack. We experience very little cracking in our products, and if you need we can come out to estimate repairing it. However, it is important to note: Repairs can be difficult to make in colored concrete as it is impossible to get a perfect color match. A hairline crack is much less noticeable than a patch or discoloration in the curbing.
Should I do anything to prepare for installation?
Sprinklers, irrigation, condensate lines and backwash from pools can all damage the curb during the first 72 hours and you should prepare to have all water turned off. Water damage is not covered under warranty.
